Hello! Welcome! My name is Vidya Makan. I’m a composer, lyricist, actor, singer and blatant over-sharer.

I’m probably most well known for playing Eliza in the Australian production of Hamilton! You might also know me for originating the role of Catherine Parr in the Australian Tour of SIX.

My debut original musical, The Lucky Country, opened in 2023 with Hayes Theatre. 2025 is going to be an exciting year for all things The Lucky Country, so keep your eyes (and ears) peeled mates!
